Meet the Executive Director,
Amanda Martz

Amanda Martz brings nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare, including home health and long-term care. Her background has shaped a compassionate, resident-centered leadership style focused on supporting families, strengthening teams, and creating a welcoming environment for residents.

Amanda is dedicated to ensuring each resident feels comfortable, respected, and at home. Her hands-on experience across multiple care settings gives her a strong understanding of both clinical needs and daily operations, allowing her to guide her team with confidence and care.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of four and grandmother to two grandchildren, and values every opportunity to be together. Her commitment to family and connection carries into her work, where she strives to build meaningful relationships with residents and their loved ones at SummerHouse Bay Cove.

Team member training is crucial in senior living as it ensures team members are well-equipped to provide high-quality care and support to residents.
